Preconception Appointments
You do not have to be pregnant to book a new patient appointment! Let us know that you’re seeking a preconception appointment and Dr Housholder will walk you through a medication plan for a future HG pregnancy.

Infusion Add-Ons
We are now offering IV vitamin infusion add-ons in clinic! These IV vitamins are specifically recommended for HG patients by the HER Foundation and Dr. Housholder. Dr. Housholder also has an infusion blend specifically for patients struggling with anemia.

Illness Policy
It can be devastating for our HG patients to contract contagious illnesses such as flu, covid or the stomach bug. Therefore, if you’ve had fever, chills, cold symptoms or viral stomach bug symptoms, please refrain from making an appointment in our clinic until your contagious symptoms pass.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule, we ask that you let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid a $20 cancellation or no-show fee.

Insurance
We are in network with most major insurers, including Blue Cross (we are not High Performance Plan providers), Cigna, Aetna, United, Multiplan, and Medicaid of Alabama insurances. If you don’t see your insurance listed, please text or call us.

We are family friendly
If you need to bring your children, you can ask to be placed in our ‘play’ room complete with toys, coloring books and cartoons.

Our patients are very sensitive to smells
Visitors are not allowed to have any outside food or drink. Visitors (and patients) need to strive to be as fragrance free as possible. We have snacks and drinks available for patients who feel like eating during their treatments.
